Actually the washer and dryer set was still working, but the washer support spider had corroded and broken, making the washer unusable. The new set is a top load washer with an impeller. Awesome machine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Maytag washer is a replacement for my old washer and I just love it! It is easy to use and does a great job cleaning my clothes. Compared to my old washer, this Maytag does the job in nearly half the time saving me a lot of time getting the laundry done. It is large enough for my king sized bedding yet it handles a smaller load perfectly as well. I couldn’t be happier with this new washer.

I bought this Maytag at a local dealer. The basket is big enough to hold quilts for our large beds. The electronic and remote-control panel is fun and easy to use. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE
So disappointed. Machine starts agitating before its full tearing my clothes apart.. It NEVER fills. Does the same thing during rinse cycle. This is an ongoing issue with this machine. Check other sites/google problems. How do I get the machine to fill with water then agitate??? I'm sure you wont post this review, I just read the small print at the bottom. Thankfully there are many social media outlets to warn people to NOT BUY THIS MACHINE

Better off hand washing your clothes.
This washer is horrible! There is soap residue left on the clothing no matter what soap you use or how much soap you use. Clothing gets twisted and tangled up which causes horrible wrinkles. Bedding stays dry in spots even when washed on the bedding setting. I am washing a light weight quilt as I am writing this review. I am on the fourth go around trying to get the soap out. Fourth! I poured several jugs of water into the machine in hopes that the soap will finally rinse out. It’s so bad, ...

Love our new washer
