I've had this washer for around 2 years now and initially had no problems with it. The noise level is relatively low and the manual controls worked well. wiring problems
maytag deffently cut corners with this unit. bought ut 2 years ago I've had the 120v wire for the drain pump break twice in 2 years. Just repaired the wiring connector for the drain pump as well. the manufacturer used 20awg wire and it just cant handle the vibrations the machine puts out.

It's been a good value so far, seems to agitate will, but I've only washed about a dozen loads. In my opinion the size is adequate for a family. And I like that it has control options for temperature, fill depth and extended rinse. I do wish it had a simple readout to show the time remaining. That was a handy feature about my last washer. But other than that I have no complaints so far.

We bought the matching dryer it's dumb that the top of the dryer is not flat. Because It's curved and stff will slide off of on to the floor.

Does everything we need and wanted.
Has the cleaning power we needed vs impeller style washer. Plenty of capacity for bedding after a family stay. Drains quickly and completely. Preheat is helpful to minimize our hot water flow to the washer. Rinsing leaves so much dryer than our previous machine.
