Horrible Interface & Smart Applicance that Isn't

My takeaway from using this machine is that the interface was designed by people who do not actually do laundry. (Was user feedback actually incorporated?) In terms of performance, it doesn't get clothes dry on the only low-heat setting (Delicate"). For all the LG buyers out there. Stay away from gas dryers. This has been a total disregard to the fact that some people like to have dry wrinkle free clothes. Very disappointed

I bought this dryer in 2018 at some point. Had it installed professionally with the pedestal drawer. Starting at some point last year, I noticed a thumping sound as the dryer ran. Figured it was a roller and have just ignored it. This morning, I heard the thumping, and a rattling sound and some clicking. Don't believe the good reviews--read this

Whoever is writing good reviews doesn't know what they are missing. They must have never had a good dryer. This dryer could lead to a fire hazard. The filter does not keep most of the lint from going through the dryer and into the piping. I find a lot of lint build up in the venting. Likely because of the lint build up, the dryer isn't drying the clothes, and it can take running it twice to dry the clothing. Could be good, but has issues with lint screen

Setting the dry level keeps you from overdrying items and reduces static. The dryer does have a few major drawbacks though. First, it keeps warping its lint screen. Steam is a great feature, when it works

Bought this dryer in 2019 for the steam function that removes wrinkles without having to iron. Our old LG set had this function in the washer so when the washer "went south", we had to replace BOTH to still continue to have that function. So wasn't happy when something "popped" inside the dryer and the tech told us the motherboard had "fried" after only 4 years! Of course, it was out of warranty and repair costs were almost as much as replacing the dryer.

Nice Dryer Even For The Older Person

The auto drying sensor usually dries the clothes completely, but sometimes I have to run it twice. I have to also check the lint catcher as sometimes I don't push it down all the way or it works it's way up on its own...not sure yet...and a piece of clothing (usually my 99 year old mothers nightgowns) and it catches on...

Inaccessible to blind users
