Errors after the warranty period ends

I bought this fridge, and my mom did as well, and both of us have gotten the IF E error code after the warranty ended. The cause is a failing fan motor in the freezer compartment. Doing searches online show this is a common failure of LG fridges.

Worst customer service ever

No call back for defective ice maker on refrigerator we paid $2400.00, for and 3 year service plan, still broken and no help from anyone. Biggest problem is no one ever calls you back.

I like the color of the stainless steel that is slightly darker because of the fingerprint proof finish. Inside has adequate lighting, bottom shelf is solid and non adjustable . Downgrade from similar older models/good not great

This replaced a 10 year old LG that was similar which had probems with its icemaker, lighting, and door seal. We liked the style of LG and would have liked to get the same model and design as our older model but LG has updated the product link so it is not available. Bottom drawer ice tray won’t flip out the ice anymore. Not sure what the issue is? I need to reset it each time for ice to be dispersed.

warranty? , not reliable

Great looking but just over 2 years old and the freezer fan went out, was told the part is no longer produced. replacement would be over $100. plus $95. service call and 250. labor. we Paid over 2,000 for this you would expect it to last at least 8 to ten years not just 2 and a half.

Horrible Experience

We loved the space and the look of this fridge but has recently been a nightmare. Started with weird high pitched noises then progressed to loud noises that sounded like a cross between a washing machine and lawn mower. Fridge is good but the include water filter is bad

Got this during the more recent black Friday sale for $1799, which was hard to pass considering the price now is near $2500. Honestly everything works great great. First time purchasing LG, I hope it lasts!

Refrigerator has a good layout, and the water dispenser is a great design. This one allows you to see where the water comes out of the tube, and is recessed slightly so you aren't spilling water all over the floor. The ice maker in the door needs to be used frequently or the ice forms into a single block that must be broken up.
