Overall this is a good microwave and heats up food quickly. I like the flat clean look of the front door without the handle like the other models. This also makes it easy to clean. The controls however could use some improvement. Especially adding one touch start. LG WARRANTY SCAM!

Magnetron died after 3 years. 10 year warranty is a scam. They will not replace it. They will not send you the part to repair it. They will send you to a "licensed" repair shop that will then charge you about half what you paid for it so it can survive another few years. I bought this microwave four months ago, waiting past my initial impressions which have now been confirmed. This product is less expensive because it is cheaply made. Just opening the door and you can feel its 'tinny' construction. You cannot read the control panel board unless the kitchen light is on behind you. Expected More, Got Less

It's the little things that this basic unit fails on. Inside light is so dim, you can't see the items cooking. No single button selection for minutes. The touch pad is mushy looking, but equally as reflective as the glass door making the unit look dingy, even when clean. Noisy!

The microwave was easy to install although I had to use my handyman because Lowe’s installation was 2 to 3 weeks out. I like not having to press time cook when I want to cook something, just hit the minutes/seconds and start & it starts cooking. It is certainly powerful, but along with that it is also very noisy. Liked operation of unit. The microwave cabinet sounds tinny when closing door. I prefer a handle for opening and closing door, versus push button.
