We just replaced our LG that was similar to this and was hoping it would clean the same. It doesn't. I have young kids who get messy. This doesn't clean off the spaghetti sauce, ketchup, etc. that my kids get on their clothing. It's still there (and even hard and crunchy sometimes) after I wash it. no soak cycle, ! And slanted top so things slide
Beautiful machine, quiet , cleans my clothes fine, interactive app. The problem is there is no soak cycle. Who makes a washer without a soak cycle ? When I pause the machine to let it soak it drains,. There should be a warning. Also the top is not flat, it is slanted. Who makes a washer that you can’t put things on like your empty basket, or folded clothes that you take out of the dryer. So much money, so much hype and I think it was designed by someone who never did laundry.

Sucks
I called because my washer was not rinsing or spinning. You cannot talk to anyone but an Lg representative I am 62 years old and the lady treated me like an idiot. Would not put in a service request because she said I washing my clothes wrong.

I would be very careful if you buy this machine to make sure that you run the clean cycle regularly and wash something often in hot water. My husband and I learned the hard way. Don’t buy!
I’ve had my washer for seven months with just my husband and I in the household who highly take care of their items, and this washer has already broken with absolutely no help from LG. The hinge for the lid broke and LG said it’s a physical damage issue and they provide no coverage unless you get an extended warranty. Beware.!

Okay Washer
My LG top load washer is an okay washer! So far, it is quiet and gets the job done. Presently, my only problem with it is at 5’1” tall it is hard to reach into to retrieve the clothing. This is when I wish I still had my front loader.
