I tried to do something nice for an employee at the store named Brandon and let him have the sale and he did EVERYTHING WRONG. When we finally got that straight the installation guy that had already been paid for the installation kept rescheduling, so I returned the door back to the store and I am VERY upset with the whole situation and I will tell anyone who wants to go through this process with Lowe’s not to do it, to go to a reputable store.

The Larson storm door with hidden closer served well for eight months, until the door caught a wind gust. The plastic closer hardware immediately broke. The door slammed open, bending the aluminum frame, shattering the retaining strips holding the glass, and causing the glass to jump out of the frame. In seconds, the door became totally inoperable in multiple ways. It turned into a piece of junk. For the consumer, it meant an instant loss of over $700 not covered by the Larson Storm Door Lifetim...
Installer found the door defective and was unable to install the door. He took it back to the store with him. Instead of receiving multiple surveys it would be nice to hear from someone about when I can expect replacement product as soon as possible

Excellent door
I’ve had this door a couple of months now. I was surprised at the overall quality of this door. Very sturdy. The Low-E coating on the glass makes a difference in blocking out heat when the main door is open. Installation was straight forward. I love the built in hydraulic door closer. Makes for a very clean look. Over all, I’m very pleased with the door’s looks and function.

My husband and I bought this door exactly 2 years ago and have loved it but it has already broken. We do not even go out the door it’s on very often since we use the garage. The hidden closing mechanism at the top is connected to the frame with plastic on the inside and has already snapped.
