It's all right, not fully effective

This tray has 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" stubs to keep sockets in place. However, the arrangement of these stubs is not ideal, especially if one has both metric and SAE sockets. Organized Storage

The storage unit help reduce the amount of space i needed for my US and Metric sockets. The organization help and the ability to take the entire unit to where i was working saved time. I did not go back/forth to my tool box when i had the wrong size socket.. Therefore this product helps save time and helps with organization

How I Use Them

I grind out the rivets and remove the socket holder strips from the metal panel and use them individually. The individual cost is very economical per strip this way. Socket holder clips/sliders can be added or removed from each strip based on the number of socket that you have in a given size and type. This aids in organization safety by not leaving socks behind when putting away tools at the end of a job.

Misleading description!

I like these trays for organization however the description is very misleading. the pictures show 20pc 1/4in, 30pc 3/8in, and 30pc 1/2in clips. It even says that is what is included in one of the pictures. This is what I wanted to match my red trays. However, once I got home and looked closely, that is not what is included. After looking closer at the item details it says there are 30pc 1/4in, 40pc 3/8in and only 16pc 1/2in clips. This just doesn't work for a lot of 1/2in impact sockets. T...

nice tray, but limeted.

I bought this tray today to organize my drawer. like others have said not enough spaces for 1/2". Unless you buy 2, 1 for SAE 1 for Metric. I had the idea of switching the 1/4 for 1/2 inch, by buying a smaller 1/2 set for 10 piece bar 10.00 and using them. The clips are interchangable. you can look online for spares from another co., but it would not be cost affective. This tray was about 18.00, so if i buy 2, i could still re arrange the socket clips to my liking. so this will cost 36.00 not wh...

Good value

Nicely organizes sockets. There is a good variety of 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2” socket clips and you can slide them off the end of the tracks to arrange them as you like. I wish Lowe’s sold the retainer clips individually so I can add more 1/2” clips. Guess I will buy another and use the clips off that one.

Keeps things well organized

This did a great job of keeping my sockets organized. I had used a different version of their organizers before and I liked those too. This is nice because you can adjust and make it your own. Of course I would love some kind of labeling solution here as well. I ended up printing some labels so that everything is identifiable and obvious when something is missing, but it would be nice if there was something to help with that. After years of hunting for the correct socket, this organizer/holder solves the problem. Love this socket rail. I have been around tools seemingly my whole life, and I am 61 y/o. I was an ASE Certified Master Technician for 32 years before health issues took me in another direction.
