Lowes pulled a fast one
I went to buy this blower for $99 with battery and charger and lowes was out of them, I was told to go on line and order and it would be delivered i n a couple hours to my house, well I got a texted later that day that it would be 3 to 7 days before I would get it and instead of the $5 charge for delivering it to me they charged me $78 for delivery along with the $99 for the blower. Purchased 6/25 by 9/2025 battery would no longer take a charge. The whole process of getting return authorization is part of the process, but then you are required to return it to a store and deal with each individual stores way of handling the return. I purchased this blower on Lowes Daily Deal 12/21/2025 which states you buy the bare bones blower for $ 69.00 you get a free battery. I chose the in-store pickup since it would be ready that day, after a few hours I noticed that the pickup time changed to after Christmas and that the free delivery would arrive before Christmas, so I chose to have it delivered. good but small
I had the 40 volt blower and the battery died, it was a Kobalt. Lowes is revamping the Kobalt line of blowers and the smaller one was the only one they had in stock at my store. I needed a blower and I bought the smaller one they had in stock. Salesman was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I will buy another larger one at some point, may have to look at other stores. It does the job for now.

mine lasted 12yrs
i purchased this exact model over 12yrs ago with the 4Ah battery. It survived a full discharge every week. At 10yrs I noticed the battery started losing capacity and the blower trigger switch started sticking. very happy overall. ** Critical tip: do NOT leave the battery inserted in the blower during storage. It will fully drain and trash the battery. Don't store battery on charger, either. Store the battery by itself, with 2 to 3 bars, then top it off before a big job.

Cut The Cord
This is such a nice tool. Makes leaf clean up much easier having no cord. Can quickly go anywhere, just grab the blower, pop in the battery and go. I get inandated with leaves. This really helps. The battery lasts about 40 minutes. You can extend the time by not running it on high. Really like the variable speed. Great feature.
