Kobalt 139 Piece impact socket set
This is literally a 70 pound box of 139 sockets! They appear to be of decent quality and are packed neatly in plastic bags & several boxes containing 5 - 10 sockets in each box in size order, making them easily sorted. Largest sizes are 1/2" drive 1 1/2" & 36mm. One major complaint; this should have been an 140 piece set, there is one socket the set does not include. The set does NOT include 3/8 drive 20mm deep socket. It does include 20mm shallow, but not deep. All other sizes are both shallow ...

Great set, but……
Pro: Great set for the value, that cannot be beat. Easy to read sockets. Time will tell on durability. Con: it’s a vast assortment of impacts, but, why have certain sizes in only short and certain sizes only in long? The vast majority are both short and long( which is what I and I’m assuming most people want). That is not the case though, for example the 3/8 drive has 8,9,10, etc in deep, but only has 10, 11, 12 etc. Why not have the 8, 9 in short? Or the 20 in long since you get the 20 in...
Kobalt 139 piece impact socket set
ordered this when it was on special on Christmas day. Order came in in a couple weeks, the box is heavy, about 70 lbs. it appears to be a well made set of sockets. after making room in the tool box, i found that i had 2 27mm deep well sockets and no 26mm deep well socket. i have tried to call the Kobalt support line to see if the problem can be resolved, but only get a message that no agents are available to take your call, call back later, and it hangs up.
every size in one set.
You get every size you would need for 3/8" and 1/2" impacts in one set for the best price I've seen (got it on sale). only complaint was the finish on all the sockets. mine are not clean looking and they weren't oiled or coated from the factory. they did not look as nice as the ones you see at the store, purely cosmetic. I also had a couple sizes where the walls where too thick, same size as the next up. I am curious about warranties on this set as they don't carry all the sizes individually.

As good as any other impact grade socket set
For the money, this is an outstanding set. Even at regular price for this set, you get a full 3/8” and 1/2” drive impact grade socket set that that is pretty much equal to Gearwrench, Sunex, Titan, Craftsman, etc whereas the other aforementioned brands you only get 1/2” drive set for roughly the same price. There were four skipped sockets in the overall set, and I was able to buy the individual ones in the Tekton brand to make it a complete set with no skipped sizes. Kobalt didn’t offer the mi...

good product but one socket not marked
it looks like good quality and a great set except one of the sockets I believe the 1 1/8 deep socket is not marked at all it is completely blank but I am not sure because there are no markings. it will be hard to get a replacement if broken because it is blank on all sides. Hopefully this can be fixed. because paying good money and not getting a good quality controlled product is concerning.

Good quality but short of a full set.
The quality and variety of the set was high but, for some reason, they omitted the 20mm deep and the 8 & 9mm shallow from the 3/8 drive set. This probably saved them $3 but cost them a star in the review. The laser engraving is nice, and they all orient correctly on the rail, but a roll mark would have been a nice touch for when the engraving wares off.

Less Than Ideal
I had to purchase this product twice, the first time it was sent to me 1 socket was damaged and one was made incorrectly. They made me return the whole set instead of replacing the sockets. The second time, one of the sockets was made incorrectly but I'm not wanting to deal with returning the entire set AGAIN...

lettering wears off almost instantly
