Superb Nautical Hanging Light Fixture
This fixture is a quality unit with a heavy ribbed glass insert. It is easy to assemble because it only requires the placement of the glass insert into the top support for the rib cage and then 3 screws for the rib cage itself. Hanging it from the ceiling requires 2 people because you have to first screw the hanging bracket onto the junction box on your ceiling with the loop attachment in place. We ordered this thinking that it was much smaller. It is quite a fixture and in the right room would be great. Be aware that this is quite large. works well in a dining or other large room and could be a great eyecatcher. It comes with several ( 4) down rod pieces which can be threaded together to provide quite a bit of drop from the ceiling ( about 3ft from the top of the fixture) in about 1 ft sections. Brass Lamp
This is a beautiful, large hanging lamp. The instructions to hang were easy to read and follow. To show off this lamp to full advantage I would recommend using on a high pitched ceiling. It has all the attachments needed to have it hang down from the tall ceiling. Ours being a standard 8 foot ceiling we were unable to use the attachments for the full length of hanging, but it still worked perfectly.

Brass ceiling light
1. The wire was difficult to tell polarity. Very tiny numbers on one strand we almost unseen. 2. The instruction was more a parts diagram. No direction for a novice installer 3. Build quality was good for stamp metal. Other parts were very good as well. Came with the ability to assemble at long and short lengths. 4. Large dome on top seems like a waste of usable space 5. Overall Very nice light.

Extremely large light
Received this light and planned on using it by kitchen sink but when got the globe pendant light, it was very well built and pretty just very large in size. Mock up by sink proved too big for there but gonna install in my soon to be finished man cave!! Probably get a matching one for it too !

Great quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice light fixture. Very high quality, made from steel. No worries on it breaking easily. Its got a little weight to it, but that's steel for you. The color is nice and gives a "relaxed" lighting. Not dim but not overly bright. Installation was easy and pretty quick. Gives a nice modern look.

I hunted this light fixture down after seeing it on HGTV. I love it and it fits perfectly in my space. My husband installed with not much fuss. If you're considering it just do it. You won't regret it.

Kichler made a hit with this one. Many creations possible. I made it a pendant and it lights up a room with a 100 watts. I made it into a stand-just for fun- and works with the brass extendable screw rods. Get one . It makes a room!
