What Customers Are Saying
The product is a high-quality saw with sharp, aggressive teeth that allow for efficient and accurate cuts through various materials. Customers praised its lightweight yet sturdy construction, comfortable handle, and versatile dual-edged design with both rip-cut and cross-cut teeth. While a few experienced minor issues like bent or broken teeth, the overall consensus is that it is an excellent value and well-suited for flush cutting, trimming, and other precision work.

have used pull saws for years and this is a good one with a thin blade. A thin blade is desirable to an experienced fine woodworker, but may be a downside to construction workers and hobbyists who would benefit from a thicker bladed ryoba that won't chase grain as easily.
Not for Flush Timming!
I have a couple pull saws at home, but I needed one for work. This saw has very sharp teeth and cuts very well. But it is not good for flush trimming like my other saws. The teeth extend out from the edge of the saw and cut into the part that the saw is sliding against while flush trimming. I'm considering filing the edges flat, but that is not optimal.
A great seeming saw, at first
Like a Japanese ryoba, with cross-cut teeth on one side, and rip cut teeth on the other. May even be a Japanese-made blade, it's that good. The TPI on the rip side even starts finer and grows larger, making it easier to start the cut, just like on high quality Japanese saws. So how can it be this inexpensive? The main difference, compared to a true Japanese saw, is in the handle, which is plastic with a rubberized grip, rather than wood with a bamboo grip. It feels good, but it's not replacable...
Awful…..save your money
I’ve used Japanese pull saws many times so I am quite familiar with the way they work and the mechanics to use them. This saw is atrocious. The middle of the saw plate is thicker than the set of the teeth. So once you get and inch or more deep into a cut, it binds up. I can’t even get it to saw through a pine 2x4. Save your $30 and buy something else. I wish I had.

Having the right tool.
It's what I needed for making cuts to the stair tread close to the wall.

Samurai
This thing is awesome. I suggest watching the YouTube tutorial of cutting a 4×4 post to take it to the next level. Actually made cutting wood fun for me. Every carpenter should own one.
Not a drywall saw.
I don't know why so many people are call this a "drywall saw" in their reviews. Sure, you can cut drywall with it if you want (as you can with almost any saw) but, that is not what it is intended for. It's a Japanese style pull saw intended for cutting wood such as flush cutting dowels etc. Nowhere in the description is drywall mentioned.
Not sure why it took me so long to buy this
I really like this pull saw. I had planned on buying one for the longest time, but I am a bit cheap and never had a true driving need. Then, I got a gift card and decided to grab this. Its now one of my most used tools. It cuts very fast, smooth and precise. I find that I just grab this very often rather than pulling out my miter saw or circular saw (and all the cords and PPE those require). This is just an amazing value and Im glad that its part of my tool collection.
My go to saw
This is my go to saw, purchased over a year ago I have used it on many different projects. Just to name a few , stair makeover, welping box, console table, bookcase. Sometimes a power saw just can’t cut it.
Good quality saw for the price.
Hobby woodworker. Have needed this type saw for years but never bought one. Finally picked one up. Works great. Little larger than I would have liked but that makes the blade more flexible.
