As to the initial unboxing and setup; it is impressive. The whole thing is fairly weighty and Google/Nest really did their work making you feel like you're opening something fancy. Every item in the box has a recessed notch, or compartment, or retaining slots inside the box to keep them from moving around. As a homeowner with an Alexa enable device in practically every room of the house, I was not sure if the new Google Nest Hub Max would be much of an enhancement. I was wrong. I spent a good week or so playing with this product a lot and putting it to actual use. I have to say, I really like it. I wasn't really interested in getting one of the voice command devices but this one is pretty neat. So I'll start with the more common functions, just asking it for things. It works great.
