Long Overdue Upgrade

Bought this a few week ago to replace an old chain model. I was after a kit that had everything I needed including the keypad and the Aladdin app connect. Installation was straightforward with good directions. I replaced all the sensor and control wiring and this added a few hours but the install is now clean and grease free. Exteriors Buttons don't work

I had trouble setting the down/up limit until I realized that the external case buttons do not line up with the buttons on the circuit board. Took the case off by removing 2 screws and was able to finish the setup. Otherwise its a great opener and I would buy another when the time comes. Easy to setup and the app control is really nice.

Locked out of your garage during a power outage?

Whenever the power goes out, there always seems to be a reason I need to get in the garage but can't because the garage door won't open. With the battery backup, I will never have that issue again. The Wi-Fi is great too. The whole family can open the garage from their phones. Lastly, the belt drive opener is barely audible when running. Our other opener was an old screw drive which was about as loud as you can get. Overall a great purchase.

Only for small garage doors

The instruction manual was good and on a large page. In fine print on page one was if you door is over 7 feet, then you may need an extension rod. I assembled without seeing this as my door entry way is 7 Ft 6. And figured it would be ok. It was very close to working but really needed the $80 extension rod. Fantastic Product, Price, and Painless Install!

The belt drive is very quiet compared to our old chain belt. Our old Genie opener was 19 plus years old, so having a new opener with new technology, and many more included accessories is great. I can open my garage from with the two included garage door openers, an outside unit with a four digit code, or via wifi. I purchased it on May 24 and was told I’d be contacted within two days to schedule installation, but I never received a call and had to follow up myself multiple times. Quiet. Easy to install, well written directions. Easy to set up on Google home, the app, etc. Keypad and door opener buttons are great. Battery back up a plus as well. Love it! After a noisy one for 24 years it is great!!

Very Poor Quality

I had read reviews of this product before I bought it, but they must have been paid one because this thing is junk. It started to fail within 3 months of installation. Very temperamental controller and multi-piece rail that flexes and stops the unit from moving. Don't waste your time with this one.

Program buttons don't align with control board

Installation of opener was straight forward. Programming was impossible. After trying several times to follow the programming instructions, all I was able to do was set the down stop. The original belt was ruined during these efforts when the opener ran the turnbuckle into the end pulley, bending the gold screw and metal end that holds the belt.
