Generac has reputation of general quality at reasonable price. I do not like the mobil app being only control you have of generator. Much more prefer the on unit control screen. Design and appearance is good, but wiring entry should have more options than the one entry point. One eyesore is the gas regulator having to be 5' from generator. This is requested by Generac not local jurisdiction inspection. This also adds to possibilities of damage to gas line which outweigh the gain of safety by pla...

MY GENERATOR WAS INSTALLED ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND WITHIN 2 WEEKS, IT WAS FULLY TESTED. MY POWER WENT OUT at 7:00 a.m. it was promised to return at 12:30 which never happened. it finally came bacl on at 7:30 p.m. My generator was perfect and, it was so QUIET, no one even noticed it was on. Thanks for asking!

Installation in nick of time!!!

Bought for insurance not truly figuring to need. Seriously, 29 days after installation a tornado goes through and breaks off power poles!!! Our home was a shining beacon in the neighborhood! So grateful to be able to care for others with lodging, food prep, electric charging and cooling in the terribly hot and humid days. Grateful beyond what we can express!!!! So glad we did this and just in the nick of time!!!!

Weekly exercise problem cause by short power blip

To early to complete. A very short power blip has affected the controller witch give a ECODE 2670. A manual reset was required to get the weekly exercise going again. Look fine after this manual turn off and back on auto
