Less than 60 days already needs a new fan

I bought this refrigerator April 23, 2026 within 60 days stopped cooling. Lowe’s has a 48 hour return policy which is ridiculous in itself! Called Bodewell sent someone out after a few days for him not to have the fan that needs to be replaced after 2 months of having the refrigerator. Now because they have to order the part they can’t come back for 2 more weeks. I called and got an earlier appointment but if the parts don’t come in then they will have to cancel that appointment. Get humans to answer your phone!

The refrigerator is great. Like the shelf in the freezer and sliding drawer in the fridge. Delivery was a problem as they dropped it and dented the top, so it was returned and I was told to call Lowe’s to get a new one delivered. TRY getting a human on the phone! Looks nice

This refrigerator replaced a 32 year old unit that still worked. The old unit was labeled a slightly smaller volume (17.2 cu ft) than this unit but in reality, the old unit was bigger inside. The freezer is much smaller and the door occupies quite a bit of the freezer space. To be fair, there is more shelf space on the freezer door. I bought this refrigerator in June/2026, and I am happy with my choice. The salesperson Mr. Khalid was very professional and helpful in purchasing my refrigerator.

Poor Option for a Refrigerator

I do not like the refrigerator. It is noisey. I ordered the refrigerator in the store, online. It is small inside, but because I had to look at pictures, it was hard to see what I was buying.

Basic but loud fridge

It’s a basic fridge. It keeps food cold at proper temperatures and has decent storage. I don’t care for how loud it is. I replaced a similar GE model with this one and this one you can hear in the next room when it runs. I also don’t care for the shelf positions compared to the old one. I have to put taller jugs in the door because they will not fit on the shelves.

Review of GE Refrigerator

I love the refrigerator , however, I was upset because after a week and a half I noticed frost & ice around the rim of the freezer. My old refrigerator was 21 years old and I had one problem that caused me to need this purchase. I was surprised. I had a technician come today and fixed the issue, I hope. It is a shame that it seems that new appliances are not built the way the old products were.

Great Refrigerator

I bought this refrigerator Sat, & it delivered Wed, July 1st. Everything went as planned with the delivery. I couldn't ask for better service. It was GREAT!!!!
