GE Top-Freezer Refrigerator & 30-in Free-Standing Electric Range Suite in White

Cheaply made

I bought this on April 6, 2025 and six months later Half the handle on the refrigerator part came off. It cannot be put back on both my sons and I tried. Today, the top half of the handle on the freezer broke off I will never buy GE again. I always bought whirlpool with no problem. I guess that’s what I get for being cheap.

Not impressed with quality

This refridgerator is loud! It's in our kitchen and when it runs, that's all you can hear. We have an old house with flexible laminate floors. If the fridge isn't exactly level we get a fan buzz.. Not so sure about fingerprintless. See more now than on old fridge. Miss the old 15 year old Kenmore. Everything, ,including shelf stability was better quality.

Difficulty getting to initial temp for GarageReady

Purchased for my garage. Expected better insulation as it is hot in Texas. First fridge delivered had a manufacturer defect. CSR was very helpful and got a team out to check the issue, and request a replacement. I took some time for the fridge to get to temp. SO we will see how it holds up this first month.

GE Fridge

This GE fridge was for our garage. After awhile we realized it was not working properly. We asked for it to be replaced and they refused. Took forever for the repair to be completed. It was a nightmare before it was finally repaired. Would never buy again

Excited about my new refrigerator.

I went to our local store and bought a GE refrigerator. I asked that an icemaker be added to it and they said they would do that. When the guys came to install it I asked where the icemaker was and they said it was not on the order but I could get one from the store and they would install it for me. I went to the store and bought one and brought it home and they are suppose to install it tomorrow. I

A number of issues

We got this fridge and within a few weeks it was not keeping the temperature in the fridge below 40 degrees. We had to get it exchanged - a major inconvenience. We've had the replacement fridge for about 85 days and have had issues twice with it. First with the vent getting covered by a package in the fridge and the temp rising to 50 degrees. Good for the Garage...Read Caveats

OK, before I start let me just say, I'm an engineer and a real stickler for detail. The experience with Lowes and delivery (this time) was OK, the delivery guys were very nice and very efficient. Noisy

I am very disappointed in the loud sound the refrigerator makes when the motor/compressor cuts on. It seems to run VERY frequently throughout the day and night. I like the refrigerator otherwise but the noise is annoying.

Good choice for our camp

We were looking to replace the smaller 28" GE fridge at our camp, and this was the perfect replacement. It's almost exactly the same fridge but substantially bigger. Yes, you can hear it in our camp kitchen, but it's not distracting. Hopefully it'll last a while...

Luckily I got the extended warranty

Its been 2 years since I purchased this refrigerator for our kitchen and I feel like I got a dud. The repair men that came out to work on this troublesome refrigerator are to be commended. From the start things went wrong, the doors fell in about 3 months, the temperature guage had to be replaced, the door insulation stripping had to be replaced.
