Had this washing machine delivered and installed. Installer told us to do a quick wash before using. Found out later, the installer should have done this before he left. Started machine. Within minutes our floor was flooded. Fortunately, the delivery/installer had just left, so they came back. Within 5 minutes, he announced the machine was broken and he was taking it back. Ge profile lid breaking
I have had my GE profile washer for less than a year now. I have had the lid replaced twice on it. The lid starts cracking on the left side of the washer then does not close right causing the washer to end the cycle in the middle of a wash or just ending the wash as soon as you start the cycle.

Horrible Washer
I've had this washer since May of 2025. The cheap plastic lid broke around March 2026. It was still under warranty so I had it repaired for free. It is now July 2026 and the lid is breaking again. Now it is not under warranty. The parts cost $315.00 to replace the lid. I can get a new washer for $400.00. The machine is ALWAYS off balance and shutting off due to this. This was a horrible purchase.

Broken Lid, off balanced
The lid broke after about a year of use. More and more prices keep breaking off. We are still about to use it with some force on top of lid. This washer jumps around and so off balanced. We will start the washer in one place in the laundry room and come back to find washer has just walked away. Will not buy another GE washer.

Don’t buy it
If I take a tape measure and measure the depth of the tub it is roughly 18 inches when I select any setting the water only fills up 4 to 5 inches. This is done this from day one unless I put it on bulky then it fills up all the way the agitator that’s a joke as well it goes back-and-forth my clothes just sit there, not doing anything. I have put 10 items of loose scrubs into the washer still, it doesn’t agitate them. This is done this from day one worst washer machine I have ever owned. I can’t...

I purchased the washer in January, 2026. I was immediately disappointed with my first wash. The washer is so loud it seemed like something major just snapped. Large capacity. Very efficient. Many options for different types of items washed. I’m glad it has the center agitator, it cleans better than the washer I had without. Many water temperature choices. The only thing for me that is a minor challenge, the washer is on a raised platform 1” higher than my floor. Writing this review after one year of use. Unit was delivered leaking from the water inlet - after verifying it wasn't the hoses, a technician came and replace the part. Not what I expected.
We don’t really like it. We don’t feel as though the machine puts enough water in the tub to get the clothes clean and there is no way to manually increase the water amount. There is a video in the support page plainly showing how much water should be in the tub based on load size and the washer clearly doesn’t use that amount of water. I realize it’s supposed to be high efficiency and water saving but I would rather know that my clothes are getting clean.
