I had to replace both a post & cap to my eight-month-old yard fence due to damage. I have no idea how damage occurred, but the cap was half broken, and the top of pole had a large U shaped broken. With this damage, I noticed the thickness of the cap & pole are very thin. Maybe 1/16 of an inch.

It did not seem to be the same dimensions as a previous model but I was able to modify it to make it work.

What are they thinking?
I honestly do not understand why they don't include a latch with the gate. It seems so obvious. They might as well not include hinges either. Also on many previous posts customers have said over and over again that they want written instructions. Who want to take their computer outside to put the gate together. Other than that, it seems like a decent gate. Vendor, please listen to your customers, you will do much better.

Nice, but won't last.
The product looks exactly like the fence I had in my yard. Seems to be pretty standard. The first problem though is that the new pieces don't fit the old pieces. So, you have to sand down the slots to make them bigger for the new pieces top fit. The second problem is that this product does now hold up against sustained winds we have had here in Nebraska. BEWARE
I have never had such a horrible experience with a product or customer service. Our gates both were delivered to us defective. When we reached out to get replacements shipped to us they said it wasn't their problem and that was the end of conversation. Horrible customer support.

Misleading listing
The listing for this item clearly shows and says the panels are ASSEMBLED . Nowhere in the photos or listing does it show there are individual slats. It’s not until you get to the Overview section that it says the panels are not assembled. Please correct/clarify this listing so someone else isn’t caught unaware. This now means more work and time for my installer.

Delivery of fence materials 11 hrs!!!
This is the second time that I have ordered this product( the Fence is great 5 stars!) I thought when I ordered this and specified that I was ordering it from the Latham store, but by ordering online they assigned it to the Glenmont store because it was closer to my home (.7 miles) When I first ordered this fence in april -18 they messed up the delivery so bad that they delivered for free and took 20% off the invoice ! unfortunately your only choice, so overpriced
so for the cost of 16ft of fence panels and posts you can get 5ft of a gate...which is really just some slight rail mods with side rails and the hinges... though not the latch as that would be too convenient. for whatever reason Lowes doesn't stock this or the boerbel latch kit so both are special orders. expect to wait weeks not days. it took a full month for the gate to arrive.
