Purchased the Fanimation Studio Collection Chrome Ceiling Fan for our living room. Wanted a fan that was inside of a cage but also wanted a real light. We bought this fan for our son’s room about a year ago because he has a loft bed and we didn’t want him sleeping close to fan blades. About a month ago the light started to flicker. Love the look of the fan when it’s off. Unfortunately I didn’t do enough research before I bought this but the light is warm white, which I hate and doesn’t go with the modern look of the light. Compact Fan for Small Rooms

We bought this fan for a small room and it works well in that situation. The downward air pattern is small, maybe 5 to 6 feet in diameter directly below the fan. The fan is extremely quiet, so much so that it's easy to leave the room and forget to turn it off. The remote works well for the fan functions (on/off, speeds); however, while the remote will turn the light on & off, it does not vary the intensity, i.e. it doesn't dim the light (thus the 4-star rating). I finally got around to replacing an old fan. The longest part of the install was removing the old fan, and assembling some pieces of the new fan. I liked the look of this which is why I bought it, but I was concerned the fan wouldn't have much airflow with its design. To my surprise, it actually has very good air flow. Good for its intended purposes

It is exactly as advertised/pictured - made for a specific use - where you want a ceiling fan but can not have exposed fan blades because of safety concerns. I put this in my garage workshop to replace a traditional ceiling fan. The old fan blades we very close to the drop down attic access door and were always a danger when working on anything long/tall in the garage. I've seen the fan in the store but was not operational.. ordered on line, received promptly with free shipping. For the price I was expecting a whisper of a fan, but is very noisy even on the lowest speed, like a cheap shop fan. Great for bunk beds!

I am grateful I found this fan. We have been searching for a fan to accommodate bunk beds so we don't have to worry about them hitting the blades of a traditional fan. It is fairly loud on the high speed, but my kids like to have a fan on when they are sleeping. It moves air fairly well, but you don't feel the breeze like a traditional fan. It also serves as a great night light on the lowest setting for the light. We were very surprised with how bright the highest setting is.
