I like the compact nature of the tool and contents, but i do wish the carrying case was a hard case instead of a bag like case. The plastic accessory container was broken upon arrival, but all contents are accounted for

Tried and true necessary tool!

The dremel multipurpose cordless rotary tool is an essential tool as it is cordless and very versatile. One can cut something metallic, cut PVC, sand something wooden, sharpen lawn mower blades, cut out pieces of drywall without using a specialized tool, drill holes, buff and clean something metallic, etc. This is a must have tool, in my opinion!!!

Great for hobbyists.

I really wanted the brushless version but this one was $45 less and came bundled with an additional 2 ah battery for free. I only use it occasionally so this is enough for me. The build quality is nice and it is quieter than I expected, though at full speed it is still louder than I would prefer. The included soft case is ok but I’ll probably 3d print a thin TPU band to go around the inside perimeter to keep the side walls from collapsing while you’re trying to load/unload items or zip it closed...

Great cordless rotary tool.

I needed a cordless rotary tool that has som torque to it. The cordless Dremel delivered. I can touch up the lawn mower blade or fine tune sanding some wood with no issues. The variable speed settings really help match the rim to the job at hand. Love it!

Perfect Sized Dremel

This is the perfect size dremel. I do lots of little projects around the house and this thing works great for them all. The last thing I used it for was to polish an antique butter dish my wife picked up. It did an amazing job!

Cordless Dremel w/extra battery.

This 8240 variable speed Dremel with an extra rechargeable battery was a great deal. The cordless unit makes every job hassle free. I bought the assorted attachments on sale to complete the kit. This was a great Father's Day gift from me, to me. A handyman's dream.

Versatile Dremel

This is the perfect take anywhere Dremel. It is a bit large and heavy but the speed control is great. The low speed is much different than my original dremel, which I love. You cannot go wrong with this one. Just get a second battery and you can work all day with it.

Dremel-welcomed addition to tool/craft collection

The Dremel can do so many projects with such ease. Everything from polishing old hardware to insetting the lock plates for better functioning door hardware. Create with crafts also. Wish I had mase this purchase sooner!

Cordless convenience

It was hard deciding between the corded version vs this cordless version. At the end, I feel like I made a good choice for the convenience of it. The battery and the charger are also interchangeable with Bosch 12V system, which is a huge plus. Overall, it is a solid buy for me.
