Excellent Portable Dremel

I have both this one and the Dremel Micro and use them both regularly around the house. I love the integrated wrench/nose cap as I don't have to worry about having a wrench with me, or losing it. This rotary tool is certainly hefty in the hand, but is a lot more maneuverable not having a power cord. What Dremel calls the "golf grip" is definitely the way to hold it (the Micro version holds nicely like a pencil). I purchased the Dremel to replace a very, very old corded model I've had for years. Made the purchase online as a store pick-up order since the store is only 5 minutes away. Misleading Ratings & Reviews

I’ve owned several Denzel Brand rotary tools. Plus, several of the options available from competitors. Where dremel excels is in their choice of attachments. And that’s still the case. However, build quality continues to drop. In this case, I did my due diligence before purchase. Read reviews, ratings, ect. A nice Cordless variable speed rotary tool that does what its supposed to. It is a solid well built tool. It has a conveniently located on off switch near the tip and a separate speed adjustment slide switch so you can turn it off and on with out having to re-adjust the speed each time. It lasted about 18 minutes on the first charge and had plenty of torque to get the job done. If you need more run time, A additional Dremel Brand 2.0 AH Lithium battery will cost you about $40. Exceptional stand by battery life

Great for Hobbyists

ended up purchasing this cordless unit due to the fact that I am now older, but still enjoy my hobbies (including To Gauge Modeling). Never ending uses
