I have had to order this shower door three times because Lowe's vender FedEx keeps on damaging it! Every time it arrives at the FedEx Facility in Greenville, SC they do not handle it correctly. The third one is on the way. I just hope that they do not break it too. I am getting tired of waiting on it. I had my eyes on this glass sliding door for a long time. So frustrating!

Fantastic quality and workmanship
I purchased and installed this door last month. I am so happy with the results. It is way better than the shower curtain when in use. The quality is fantastic. The thicker glass and high quality bearings make everything feel wonderful. The color also was a great match for our other products in the bathroom

First, let me say, this is a beautiful tub/shower enclosure. Nicely made, very heavy doors. I ordered this the beginning of March, a week later it came in. Unfortunately, I ordered the oil rubbed bronze. They sent me a color of reddish brown. Nothing close to oil rubbed bronze. Overall the unit is attractive and good quality.
The directions could’ve offered a few more tips… Especially on how to make the frame level and plumb. As an experienced DIY guy, I saved a lot of $$. The doors are heavy. It takes two people to install them and one of them must be strong.

Having issues with the quality of the parts.
I decided to upgrade from the old thin door that was in my guest bathroom. This door seemed a good choice for price and appearance. I ended up having to pay the Lowes supplied installer around $400 for the install as the door is 'heavy'.(???). That made it much less affordable, but I really wanted the upgrade so i went with it. ordered this after returning a different brand that didn't seem well built. this is well engineered, for together well, and was easy to install. the only thing that I don't like was that the side cover pieces aren't built to small in all the way to the wall, which is weird. other than that, totally satisfied.

I installed the Encore doors on my bathtub and am completely pleased. The installation of the frame was straightforward and the parts fit together very well. The most difficult part of the job was drilling eight holes through my porcelain tile to secure the side rails. If you have ceramic tile or some other softer surround material this will be easier. Nice Looking door - Follow the directions closely and you'll be fine. You need more than one person to install this (the doors only) but you can see the results in the picture I posted. Obviously the hardest part by far was hanging the door in the frame after everything was up. Specifically the second frame because you need to swing out the first one (keeping it in the track!) in order to make the second glass panel go up into place.
