Wrong Color

I ordered and paid the higher price to get this shower door with black matte trim to match all the other accessories and trims in my newly remodeled bathroom. The shower door took a couple of weeks to be delivered but still within the timeframe for the contractors to complete the job on time. nice looking unit

glass is sturdy and the components look nice. wheels are vinyl instead of stainless which could be better for the price. Update.in the instructions. Do Not put the end guides in permanently until you hang the doors. Every house is out of perfect perpendicular walls. Hang the doors and then set the guides and your doors will slide easily into the guides without any bumping..

Bad Design

This kit could’ve been designed much better especially for the bottom and side trim/seals. The side rails/seal instructions didn’t show different placement for the outer and inner door so inner door doesn’t even touch the seal, also they should’ve been installed last to ensure better contact with the glass. If I knew this kit would be this bad I would’ve never got it.

We are very pleased with how easy it was to order this item and have it ready for our contractor to install.

Waste of time and money

Don’t buy for what you pay for this shower door it’s not worth! The wall profiles have to be siliconed on and tape to hold and left to cure so there’s one day!! Then the next day you have to finish assembly of the door and silicone the perimeter and wait to cure so it will take at least three days before you can use your shower. So if you’re a contractor installing this it’s hard to make any money on!! Not a good system at all.

Glass Exploded, Will Not Honor Warranty

I had the Essence shower door installed by an experienced, licensed contractor in October 2021 as part of an extensive home renovation. Now in March of 2026 one of the doors spontaneously exploded shooting shards and fragments of glass in the shower and the room. The shower was not in use and at ambient temperature. Heavy glass doors

These doors are really heavy, and currently, difficult to slide for us seniors. Hope we can adjust rollers to compensate. There is one scratch in the glass, which could have been my incompetent contractor or could have been because the shipping box was ripped to shreds. Since it took 5 weeks to arrive, we accepted as is.

The shower door looks beautiful, but water leaks u

My contractor installed it. It looks beautiful but every time you take a shower, there’s water on the floor from the bottom of doors . It’s about a half an inch too short very disappointing.

Leaks

We had a licensed contractor install this for us. The door is very nice but there appears to be a design issue. The gap at the base of the door is probably less than a 1/4” but evidently is enough for water to splash over the threshold and onto the floor. Not sure if this has been addressed by the manufacturer. Everything else seems fine.
