Nice set but old
I have another 12 volt Dewalt kit like this (not Brushless). The drill died so I bought this kit. It is nice, The impact has more torque than my older kit and these new tools are a bit smaller in physical size. which I call a plus. My only disappointment is the date stamped on the tools and batteries is 2024. I would have expected 2025 or maybe even 2026. Not date stamped 2 years ago.

Use the 12V’s exclusively in our fabrication dept. Being a Master Glazier by trade, they work extremely well for us in the fab dept. When dealing with Aluminum Extrusions, the 12V’s perform flawlessly. We use them because of the lower torque requirements needed, so screws don’t strip the aluminum. We use a lot of “Self tapping” and “Type F” screws, and the 12V’s are perfect. Using 20V’s for fabrication is overkill. You cannot hand a 20V to an Apprentice and expect them to not strip out a screw s...

Nice compact tool set.
Meant to purchase the 20v set, decided to try the 12v out, and to be honest, they work really well. They're much lighter and easier to carry than my other 20v pair; and being more compact, I can fit the tools in more areas. My only gripe would be battery life, but I think the compact nature outweighs that, plus the batteries charge fairly quickly
