Easy to use for small projects

Would Recommend

I got this to do a few small projects the first was installing built ins for the Butlers pantry. I like that I could do everything I needed with just changing the tool instead of going back and forth to the shop all day. It was easy to trim the small pieces of wood that we needed to make things fit well and sanding wasn’t as difficult given this was a lot lighter for me to work with.

Cost effective, rugged and easy to handle during

I love the complete kit containing all the essentials. Everything is contained in a single bag, nothing gets misplaced. Battery life is outstanding and the vibration is minimal. Great tool.

Top quality multi tool

I've used multi tools for over 20 years and still have a Fein corded model. The DeWalt 20 volt has all the power and usable features I need: Trigger actuated variable speed; 3 top speed settings and the quick change lever are outstanding. Plenty of of power, but lower speed for finer/finesse work. This tool is somewhat bulky for very tight areas, but it's length is about the same as other cordless brands. I was impressed and am very satisfied with the performance of this sander. The sides and front will sand right up to a raised obstruction. The dust collection is in the back, works very well and the bag holds a fair amount. If you’re sanding fresh paint the holes in the pad will clog by the time the sanding sheet is spent. Nonetheless, I look for any reason to use it. If you DIY in any sort of dwelling, be it Victorian mansion, suburban rancher, or hastily constructed igloo, you need an oscillating tool. Further, if given the choice of which one to buy, I would recommend this one, especially with this kit. The tool itself is very friendly to use, lightweight, well balanced, with intuitive range selection and oscillating speed stepping as the paddle is depressed. Poor collection system

Would Not Recommend

I don’t know why I thought this sander with no suction system and a solid piece of sand paper would ever collect dust to make the $165 price worth it!! It is no more than a palm sander with all the normal dust!!! I would return it if I could!!
