Small, compact and light weight(battery size you use). I have a whole media room to do next year, and this will help with all the plug/light cut outs I'll need to do when putting up new drywall.

Have not received info for the $30+ warranty I bought with it and it’s almost impossible to reach someone about this. I want a refund for the warranty plan due to the failure of having instructions in an email that was supposed to come to me. I’ve checked my emails/spam/junk and still have received nothing. Horrible service.

Underwhelmed

I received a 1.7ah Powerstack battery for 'free' as a promotion with the DeWalt cut-off tool. I used the cut-off tool periodically, usually for only a few minutes at a time, and never had an issue with the Powerstack. I recently installed flooring in our house, and used the cut-off tool a lot for shaping the boards. I quickly became frustrated, as I would get 4, maybe 5 cuts out of the 1.7ah Powerstack battery before it would shut off. Hoping it wasn't the tool, I purchased a compact 4ah...

I have nothing but Dewalt tools. So, am dedicated to them. Not having a variable speed on this really bothers me on the function. There are many circumstances where full speed isn't just needed and slow and steady performs the best. I hate having to pull out my Dremel to do the job instead. AT least Milwaukee has a version that has a variable speed option. Seems Dewalt is always a step behind. I have way too many Dewalt tools and batteries just to switch over at this point.
