Ok, i've only had these tools in my hand for all of 10 minutes, but I can tell the quality is far superior to the Ryobi set I was using before. Better than Ryobi, but just barely.
Switched from Milwaukee and regretting it every day. Using the sander is unbearable due to the noise coming from the ridiculously loose and sloppy battery fit. People have been complaining about the battery issue for over 5 years and DeWalt has done nothing at all to fix it. If I had done more research I wouldn't be packing it all up to return. Love the tools. Lightweight and tough. Any tool will have loose batteries , look and perform poor if mistreated . I've owned the 3/8 " and the 1/2" impact drivers for five years now. Working in a truck repair shop and in the field. Both tools are operating well , getting the jobs done. Original batteries are going strong . I've been working with power tools for more than 35 years now. Dewalt puts out a tough product . Take care of your tools and they will take care of you.

Great set of tools
Great set of tools if you don't have them already. The only duplicate for me was an old Ryobi drill I have had for many years. The flashlight works great as does the impact & drill. I didn't think the multi tool would be that useful but it's handy when you need to make a small precision cut. The sander was the least useful for me but it's nice to have. The 2AH batteries and the charger are a great addition to my 8AH set I have with my Sawzall.

If you were to buy just the cordless sander, the oscillating tool, and the flashlight as bare tools, that would already total about $300. The oscillating tool is the newest model with speed selector and it's worth about $139 by itself and the sander is $129. My military discount applied online as well to save even more money. I managed to sell both drills for $100 and the charger for $15. I basically only paid $130 for the 3 other tools and 2 batteries. A great value if you finesse it right. The bad is good quality as well. It has a hard plastic bottom.

What a great package of tools! I wanted to buy the impact driver for my husband, $200, but instead, got four tools, a flashlight, and a great case for $269!! Great Set, BUT...
A great set of tools with an awesome price point of $260. Any homeowner with any level of DIY motivation can get a lot done with this set. WHY does this tool set essentially give tools away compared to buying them individually? They are made in Mexico. Go to the DeWalt website and do a search...all of the “Made In USA” tools have an icon stating such, while others do not.
