My bargain grinder died mid project. I guess it overheated and burned out the motor. Got this one and it doesn't even get warm under constant use.

Best grinder I’ve used.

Good quality and heavy duty. Able to handle the job.

Doesn’t Cut It

Bought it to cut off a rusty exhaust pipe bolt only to find out from the instructions it is not intended for any type of cutting without a Type 1 Guard, which is not included. And the dealer doesn’t stock them. So either risk using it with the Type 27 Guard it comes with, or the job has to wait. Dewalt, just spend the extra buck and include both types of guard.

Nice little grinder

Designer dropped the ball on this one.

I'm definitely a Dewalt guy. As a business, I've always had great luck with their tools. When I saw this grinder I was sooo happy to see they were putting out a slim bodied grinder. Last time I checked they didn't and I was disapointed. A small but plenty of power grinder with a 4.5" wheel! It's easier to get your hand around it, less fatigue, easier to hang onto, more control and therefore much safer as well. needs better instructions

No spanner wrench included, just a big alum wrench with no instructions how to use it. Found a video online that gives an example.

Missing Wrench

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this tool and they is no spanner wrench included. The website indicated that this tool does not require a tool to change the discs yet there is a thread bushing to hold the wheel in the spindle. To make matters worse, one of the instruction manuals online (there are three by the way!!?) indicates that changing the disc is tool-less! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this with a DW010 Dust collector and DWE46125 grinder shroud. As a remodeler we constantly have to cut into plaster and drywall. The dust issue is obvious. Had tried another brands grinders with dust shrouds but we could never solve the vacumn hose issues. most aggravating

I bought this angel grinder to use in my blacksmith shop. I don't like it. the guard is difficult to remove and hard to rotate. it comes with a Allen wrench instead of a spanner wrench to remove the wheel,and only two of the four holes fit the wrench. But worse of all is the wheel lock, you nearly have to be superman to hold it in while removing the wheel, spring way too strong. I hate this aggravating piece of crap.
