Great Tool, Poor Customer Service

This is a critique of Lowes, not Dewalt. Ordered this product after was given a one-time $25 cash back offer from Capital One to purchase from Lowes. It arrived by same day delivery, but the seals were all opened and the tool had obviously been used at some point and stuffed back into the box. Contacted Lowes Customer Service, and the only options they gave me was a 5% discount for it being used or to drive all the way to the store to return it and repurchase - thus loosing the $25 cash back. ...

Replacement grinder

This Dewalt tool met all expectations. Had a similar Dewalt tool that lasted over 25 years, it failed last month and this is its replacement. Have already used it a couple of times and am very happy with the tool

Strong, durable frame, and durable cord. I use it to cut 1095 carbon steel and it works perfectly.

Let me start by saying I have always bought cheap $15-$20 grinders before. We all know the place I am talking about where they're from. This is my first grinder that I've actually spent money on, and it is a complete game changer. I've been able to chew through rust and chop metal faster than anything I've had before. It's a good tool. Very disappointed the box did not include a collet wrench/tool since this is required to secure the blade in place. Disappointment compounded by Lowes not having the DeWalt collet wrench for in store purchase.
