Dewalt durability. Need I say more? Perfect size, and plenty of cutting power for my general purpose home uses. Did I say my use? My daughter has already laid claim to it. Just like she took "shared custody" of my Dewalt 20v Max drill and charger. The drill is another great Dewalt power tool.

I bought this little saw, because though it's compact, it really gets the job done. I had a "plug in" saw and would get so frustrated with the cord. Now that I have my beloved cordless Dewalt circ saw, no more frustration. I just wish I could afford the better batteries. I do wish they had one standard battery that was reliable vs multiple different tiered batteries.

Love this tool. It isn't tradesman grade but it is so friggin handy and easy to use. It surprisingly has plenty of power and even though a great deal of the saw is plastic it still isn't cheesy at all. I am a retired tradesman and because I needed a saw extremely rarely on the job I never carried one and have a 25+ year old corded Milwaukee for home use, which I never use now that I got this Dewalt.
It runs with my battery. I haven’t had a chance to cut anything with it yet, as temps are in the high 90s/low 100s. Maybe you should wait longer before asking for my feedback.

Blade motor installed backwards
The first and only time I used the saw, it ran backwards and burned the 2x4 I was trying to cut. A google search showed it was not uncommon. Both Lowe's and DeWalt have given me nothing but a run around. Really disappointing.

Not worth the hassle
We had to cut some 2" X 6" X 8' lumber into shorter shims. No length cuts, only width cuts, and only randomly. It was not any continues cutting. It worked for about 1 - 1/2 to 2 hours. We replaced the battery with a fresh charged battery and still do not work every time. We checked the motor each time to verify it was not binding. Spend the extra money on a better brand.
