I have a vintage Craftsman corded circular saw that I purchased a long time ago. It still works great but is VERY heavy. I like corded tools" I'm always within an extension cord length of an outlet. A while back I was looking at a Bosch corded saw with the blade on the left side like most battery saws. I think Bosch is the only corded saw with a left blade? I didn't purchase one, too much $. While in florida last spring I found a Dewalt 71/4" corded saw at a yard sale for $20.00. It was like ne...
Quality Product
Simple design and comes with all you need. The cord is pretty short so you certainly need an extension cord. The blade wrench is stored in the handle which is a slick feature.

Not compatible with Bora NGX track system sled :(
Seems like a great tool. Bought it to cut 3/4" maple plywood at 45° because my old Skil was struggling. Solid and high quality build with smooth operation. Unfortunately I did not actually get to cut any wood with it and will be returning it soon because it does not fit the Bora NGX track sled. The saw shoe is either too tight (causing the sled to warp) or too loose in the sled. This is due to the location of the clamping detents on the Bora sled. Just a warning to anyone looking to use it with ...
Great saw
OK. A little background on what I do. I am not just an average DIY'er or homeowner. I am a construction professional by trade and I do this for a living. It supports my family and I and is not just a hobby. I have used hundreds of circular saws over the past 20 years and so far this saw and the Makita 5007MG are hands down better than any other saw on the market. I lost faith in Dewalt after the DWS780 but only re-gained faith in their saws (except for sliding miter saws) and drills after their...
High-quality homeowner saw
My trusty old Black & Decker circular saw bit the dust so I researched the offerings for a good-quality homeowner saw. This one had all the capabilities I need for projects and repairs around the house. It also had good reviews online and on the Lowe’s site. This saw has plenty of power and is relatively quiet, for its size. It also has a beefy cord that’s long enough for most work. The base plate is solid aluminum and well-marked. The adjustments for depth and miter angle are simple and s...

Great Circular Saw!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw 7 years ago and it is still running like a new brand tool! It's features makes it look great and it is definitely a very durable circular saw compared to many brands. It is very easy to use and it just feels right to use it when dealing to cut with any type of wood such as plywood. Although I frequently change the blades of my circular saw, the tool still works properly and gets the job done. Overall it is a great tool to have...

The Best Circular Saw On the Market
I was tired of sharing tools with my old man and decided I needed a multi use convenient saw, a circular saw was the way to go. Once I got into the box i was like a kid on Christmas, the saw was perfectly balanced and has a good weight to it. The first cut I made with the saw was so smooth that I almost did not feel it at all. The noise was also surprising, being that it is more quiet than and cordless tools I currently use and its corded. The saw also cuts any angle on any grade of wood without...

No gripes yet.
Not much to say. It's a powerful, lightweight circular saw that requires some setup but if this monkey can figure it out, any monkey should be able to. I've only used it for straight cuts and so far it's as useful as any circular saw.
