What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this saw blade for exceptional cutting performance, particularly its ability to slice through nails cleanly without damage—some report cutting up to 24 nails in a single board. The carbide-tipped teeth and thin kerf design deliver durability and reduced vibration, while easy installation and seamless compatibility with cordless tools make it reliable for professionals and DIYers alike. Most reviewers confirm smooth, efficient cuts through wood and nails, with minimal wear. A few note it's optimized for framing rather than fine woodworking, but overall customers consider it a top-performing, dependable choice.

Crescent Nail Slicer 24T framing circular saw blade easily lives up to its name. I'm happy to see Crescent branching out. They have been a staple name in the construction industry forever. I feel that their attention to quality and detail should give some amount of confidence to buyers. From experience, I can say that this blade is more than worth a whirl, and deserves to bear the brand name of your favorite wrenches. I was shocked at how easily it cut through 2.5" galvanized nails. I cut thr...
Very Durable Framing Blade
As this is advertised as a "Nail Slicer" circular saw blade I tested it by cutting through (24) 16d common nails and checked the cutting finish before and after as well as any damage on the carbide teeth. Prior to cutting through nails I used the new blade to cut through SYP 2x4, both at max load speed and also slowly for a smooth finish cut. Attached is a photo of the two cuts. At full load speed, the cut quality was adequate and rough as expected. With a slow feed rate, the cut finish was ver...
Works great!
I’m having a house built and it’s 9 months past it’s projected completion date so I don’t want to add anything for the contractors to cause any more delays. That’s why I’m doing a couple of small projects myself. One of them is building a small, insulated, box to put my filtration system for my well water in. The other is reinstalling the toilets with shims. The subcontractor didn’t shim the toilets and with an above floor closet flange it just smashed the wax ring so hard that it was useless. ...
We call it Bladezilla!
I do like this heavy duty saw blade that goes through nails like a butter knife through room temperature butter. The second good feature besides being super sharp; is the heavy duty blade. Its thicker than most in this class. Its heavy and feels strong and rugged in your hands. To me lighter blades are just that- flimsy and sometimes floppy. Lighter ones chip easy, are brittle from being over hard, and dull easily. I have used this blade for 2 projects on my off grid project. I use Green...
Good blade, right size and tough.
What was the reason for accepting to sample this product? Did the product help solve a problem, fill a need, or fulfill a want? How did your personal experience go with the product? Expectation vs reality Mentionable features such as durability, can travel well, made with quality material? I requested this product for use with my battery powered skill saw. My saw takes a somewhat odd sized blade and this fit my saw perfectly. It was clearly marked for rotation, which helps when in a hurry to...

It's an excellent saw blade!
I was using what I believed to be a fairly new saw blade and it was worn out and I didn't really notice the difference until I used the Crescent nail slicer. I was originally going to sacrifice the new blade and test it cutting nails but I was so happy with the performance that I didn't purposely ruin the blade to test that feature. The saw blade cuts as good as any saw blade I've used before - and I generally go for the more expensive brands because I do not want to keep buying new cheap saw ...
Crescent Circular Saw Blade
It was a surprise to me when I saw that Crescent made saw blades. I only associated them with wrenches and other hand tools. When I received the blade I noticed that the packing was easy to open and store when removed from the saw. It was not just a loose blade hanging on a hook. It fit back in the carrier and I could hang the carrier from the hook which is a nice feature because it doesn't expose the teeth reducing accidental injury. The width of the blade looks thinner than other blades I us...
Crescent NailSlicer 6-1/2-in
This is my first experience with Crescent brand saw blades and so far they are positive. I received the blade and was surprised to find that the packaging was easier to open and can be used to restore the blade and hang it on a hook when not physically in the saw. I look at this as a safety feature since it also sheaves the cutting edge of the blade helping to prevent accidentally getting cut by the blade when not in the saw.. It installed easily and the warning label was visible when mounted...
