Great Grill/Smoker for the Price

For the price its a nice grill. The steel is not thick enough to retain heat to get the most out of your charcoal so you'll use a decent amount of it on longer cooks. You'll need to line the hood with smoker gasket to limit leaks. You'll also have to season the grill with cooking spray and treat like a cast iron skillet to prevent from rusting. Best grill I've ever had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this grill a few years and it has been wonderful. It keeps the temperature we need and is easy to use. It's the best grill we've ever had.

Not bad for the price

Im not going to jump up and down and say this grill is amazing. For the price you pay and the cooking space it's pretty good. You will go through a lot of charcoal but you will get very nice cooks on this grill. The steel of cook box is not thick enough conserve charcoal. Also needs smoker gasket.

Not a good girl

I oiled the grill inside and out and then proceeded to do the burn off, I put about 12 to 15 pieces of charcoal and heated it to 200°, and after a while the right side of the hood the same buckle the little it was the Fourth of July and I had people coming so I used it after we cooked it started to rain it was too hot to put the cover on so I close the hood and all the vents when I open the hood again the grill had filled with water the ash pan had about a quarter of an inch of water in it. Great grill!

Bought this March 2026 and grill at least once a week sometimes 2 or 3 times a week. It does take a bit getting used to the amount of Charcoal needed for the various cooking temps for different meats. I have grilled Steaks, Chicken and even Lobster tails. The assembly was straight forward using the video i found on site. The enamel coated cast iron grates make cleanup easy! I love my Legacy Grill

I prefer charcoal to gas -- it gives time to enjoy the time spent with a few adult beverages. It adds a level of smokey flavor that gas just cannot achieve, and it just makes it seem like summer when that Charcoal smoke hits the nostrils. Charcoal Tray Issues.

Two issues with this grill. First it delivers with a protective plastic on the charcoal tray. That's fine, but they use a glue to adhere it to the tray that is stronger then super glue. Delivery warehouse could not remove, and I spent 2 hours with goo be gone trying to remove. Second, this tray warps over time. My first grill warped so bad you could not stack the charcoal correctly. Assembled Charcoal Grill

Don’t wasted your time putting a grill together when assembly is free at Lowe’s. We previously ordered one from Lowe’s knowing that we needed to assemble it. Upon arrival and unpacking, we discovered all screws were missing. Returned it to the store and ordered this one - assembled by Lowe’s and delivered to our home. Delivery drivers were awesome and courteous. They brought the grill to the back of our property too! Worth every penny for delivery and assembly. Very nice product in time for Fath...
