Failed after one two uses.
Bought this snow blower in 2020 when we moved to the US in October, and it worked fine in time for a snow storm. After that, it seemed to struggle with actually throwing the snow and basically turned itself into a heavy snow pusher. The flat auger blade that I supposed should have been chopping snow and driving it into the chute instead turned into a snow compactor. It was a constant headache. On top of that, the fuel system had issues multiple times, forcing us to sink more money into repairs. ...

Big engine, small results.
I have a very large driveway and I bought this machine a few years ago to help make snow removal after coming home from a days work that much easier. I settled on the Craftsman 3 stage 28” inch machine thinking the 357cc engine would cut through the snow left at the end of my driveway as described… it does not. In and heavy snow it constantly gets bogged up and I can smell the engine struggling to work and the belts burning up. I went with the bigger engine thinking it would throw snow clear ...

Snowblower underperforms
I too bought this machine because I thought it would blow the snow a significant distance as I have a very large courtyard/driveway that needs to be cleared. The snowblower not only does not throw any type snow very far, but I have had to replace the carburetor as the choke door was broken after the first years use. My 40 yr old Toro snowblower does a better job than this Craftsman 3 stage machine.

Very Disappointing
The lack of fuel shutoff will cause you headache every year when you go to use this. My experience has been needing to clean the carburator every year. Auger design is poor on this and causes a snow dam to form on the bottom turning this into a plow. Jams all the time and you end up spending more time repairing this than shoveling would have taken. Shears pins left and right. Never had this throwing snow more than 7 feet so you need to work your way across the driveway strategically. Do no...

Very Poor Performance and Reliability
This is my third Craftsman snowblower over the last 30 years. The first two performed admirably. This model is so unreliable and performs so poorly that I often prefer to shovel my very long driveway rather than use this machine. The design is poor, as the augurs don't sufficiently push the snow into the impeller. The machine gets clogged up so easily and so often that if I do use it, I do as a snow plow to push the snow rather than throw it. I do not recommend this model.

great machine one minor issue.
its been great to own only had one issue which I had to diagnose on my own since the only option in the owners manual says to bring to a rep. (ridiculous i can repair it myself. jet engine mech) other than that its broke one shesr pin trying to get rid of highly compacted snow drifts.

Flawed Design
I decided to spend a little extra money on a (at the time I thought) more dependable snowblower that would be able to tackle the amount of snow that we receive in the UP of Michigan; however, I was wrong. The first winter season (2019) when I purchased this machine, it appeared to work well even though the snow was only thrown less than 20 feet or so. By the end of the season, the machine would start to clog up with any type of wetness in the snow. The following winter season (2020), it was cons...

Extremely Disappointed
This is the first product review I’ve ever written. Im so frustrated with this machine. Decided to spend a bit extra thinking it would improve quality of the snow blowing experience but this snowblower has been an absolute disaster. When in use every few feet I need to stop because the augers are spinning but snow is not getting pushed through the shoot- it gets jammed. Every time it gets used I expect to go through several pins and new this winter the shoot broke and won’t spin with the leve...

wet snow, no
It is a fact that all of them do not work well or at all in wet snow as I found out in central N.Y. 2023. It did not perform as well as it did in the videos. I think the secondary stage could be eliminated. I am glad I use this at my job. I did not purchase it. I did like the turn capabilities. Even with that feature you still sometimes have to muscle it around. But the engine was fine and it can throw snow as long as it is not too heavy.

Never again
It’s garbage. Does not throw snow unless it’s powder. I live in Maine and all it does is push the wet snow until it’s so hard to move. Junk.
