Excellent Tool Chest

I've been very happy with this Craftsman tool chest. The drawer layout provides plenty of storage and makes it easy to organize everything from hand tools to power tool accessories. Excellent tool box

Excellent quality, but missing two parts when I received it. Missing the handle, and missing a hole grommet for cord entry and exit.

Made in USA

The Craftsman V Series Tool box is Made In USA. It’s as good or better quality compared to Extreme Torque tool Boxes. Drawers are smooth even with the weight of tools. The wider drawers on the left fit many longer tools. Soft close is helpful for keeping organized. It looks great in the garage! I would recommend for anyone’s garage

Solid Cabinet

Purchased on sale and I feel it's worth the discounted price. Decent build quality and features. The only problem was a small dent/scratch on the lower front of the cabinet. Not a deal breaker since it's a tool cabinet not a dining room table. But still, you never want to see a blemish on a brand new product.

Damaged

Horrible customer service. Tool chest was damaged in transit. They offered 10% discount or a full refund if I bring it into their store. The tool chest was delivered by a box truck with a Tomilift. I have no way of returning it to the store. I guess I paid over 3 grand for a bent up tool chest.

Poor construction

Ordered top and bottom units. Had trouble with both top and bottom on my first order (drawers sticking/rubbing). Consulted with Lowes and Craftsman (Waterloo) and returned both unts. Reorderd, new units arrived and entire left side of bottom unit was unable to be opened. Cycled the lock several times. Right side drawers opened, but left remained locked. Refused delivery. These units cost entirely too much money as a "pro" series from a name like Craftsman to not be perfect right out of the box. ...

Lacks Quality Control

The first box I recieved had 2 of the 3 locking bars detached and bent. Returned and got my second box which came with 2 extra rivets. also the top mat was folded up, so the top door wore the paint off on both sides. They brand this as their top of the line but the attention to detail says otherwise. I would recommend looking at husky or something else for less.

Top End Craftsman Box

Solid build. Shipped in easy to take apart but solid box and pallet. Best “consumer” box on the market I’ve found.
