Powerful, but not variable

Overall I am happy with my purchase, because I was not excited to dish out hundreds of $$ for a high-end non corded impact, and this tool gets the job done. The only problem is that I was expecting a variable speed impact wrench, as is deceivingly written in the product name, but it is definitely not variable speed. See what others are saying, it either is off or at 100% speed. Nothing in between, so be ready.

Does the job

Good value for 100 bucks. Wish I'd bought this years ago. Yes, variable speed would be preferable, but it does the job as is. Paid for itself with the first job (removing stuck anode from water heater).

Powerful!

This tool is well built and has a lot of power. It effortlessly removes the anode rod in my water heater.

Did the job for me

Was able to remove lug nuts from the wheels on a Toyota Tundra 4x4 that had been in place for about 3 years and had been installed by the tire dealer. I couldn’t budge them with a lug nut wrench and a 3 foot cheater bar. Satisfied with the purchase.

Not Variable Speed

I bought this impact wrench thinking it was variable speed, but it is not. I returned it. I have written two reviews and they keep removing them. I asked if they could remove the label of variable speed, but I guess they are too big of a corporation to figure out how to do that simple thing. If you need a corded impact, this one is great

Needed to remove a bolt from the front end if my F-250. The bolt was torqued to 405 ft lbs. The tool had no problem breaking it loose. Worked great. Seems well built. Great price. I wish it had an adjustment for torque for putting things back together, but I just snug them up and use a manual torque wrench to finish tightening.
