This set lives on my van for pool equipment service work and paid for itself with its first motor replacement. I know Craftsman doesn’t have the reputation that it once did but this socket set has never failed me. It is the perfect size and range for on-the-go repairs and maintenance of equipment. Best Socket Set I Have Used!
I love this set! I previously had four sets of socket sets and ratchets. This new one by Craftsman makes the others look and feel like they are from the “Stone Age”. The 120 tooth ratchet is amazing as I can get in tight corners and still get the ratchet to work. It comes with both SAE and Metric sockets. Nice 3/8 set
The case is compact enough, but could be smaller. Good set quality wise, and selection of sockets is good. Tough to get the smaller sockets out so I will add a small screwdriver to the extra spacing. Rang up at just under $35 after it was retired to the back wall above the hand tools, so it was a good price.

Craftsman needs to be more practical!!!
Nice set with a nice tight small case is the reason i wanted it, portability. No 5mm, thats a popular size. I’d trade the 6mm thats comes with it instead. No screwdriver handle. Instead you get a 3/8 adapter to use the bits. I think this will be awkward using a 3/8 ratchet to loosen screws. Once again I’d trade the adapter for a screwdriver handle that bits are suppose to be used for. Why I recommend this set is because it goes up to 21mm and 3/4in and as mentioned before its compact.

This is a high quality socket set. I was very pleased with the fit and finish of every item in the case. Not too much detail because after all, it's a socket set. But its Craftsman. This stuff is legit. Solid all the way through, and the finish is flawless. The case however is one step better than unuseable. While browsing the new craftsman area in store I made a point to look at this set as it’s the first SBD design. Turning the 1/2in ratchet it felt smooth at first then it grabbed on something and became very rough and noisy. it did this in both directions. When I received the Craftsman 51 Pieces Tool set I was extremely excited because I know that Craftsman makes some of the best tools in the world. I bought this set in the presale. I recently received it. The kit came with a letter from the CEO of Lowes reassuring the craftsman lifetime warranty and a new legacy/partnership with Lowes.
