Good performance but with a glitch

Overall works pretty solid. However, if skips back and forth between speeds during use sometimes. The speed button isn’t in the best location but it happens even without bumping it. May return and get another to see if it still happens with a different one. It still performs well without draining a 2.0A battery too quickly

Great on thin wall wood and drywall

I had never used this tool before but I bought this tool to do some drywall and wood cutting. This works great on drywall. I was able to cut in a straight line the first time for an electrical box. The wood work was a completely different story. I was cutting a hole for an electrical outlet in a vanity and I thought it was 1/8 veneer since that is what the back of the cabinet was. Fairly well-balanced tool.

Fairly well balanced, stays level well. battery is a plus over a corded tool. I'm disappointed with the switch, actually, I like a variable speed single finger lever switch, as on a different brand makes. This comes with a slide on/off switch and a dial speed adjustment next to it. Too late, I'll keep it, but the design is lacking in that aspect.

Great product for the price

I had a phenomenal experience with these blades, I used them to do surgery on an existing kitchen cabinet so that I could install a dishwasher. They cut through both the hardwood and the particle board pieces, and the wooden dowels with ease. I even cut through a few staples, but wouldn’t really recommend this for longevity of the blades. The different sizes helped out a bunch too!

Uses the new LiOn battery. Need the right charger.

This tool is perfect for quickly and precisely working on a variety of home projects. Basically, anything you would use a chisel or scraper for, this tool makes it fast and easy. It will also help you in those tight places where you need to make a horizontal plunge cut in wood or wallboard. Love it.

Lucky there were three blades...I used all of them

The three pack blade package was resonible priced, considering how expensive these accessories have become. I used the blades to cut a square hole for an electrical outlet box on an exterior wall. I used the large blade to cut into the outline of the box into Hardy board. The narrow (short) blade eas required to clean the interior of the cut out through sheet rock and part of a stud. The narrow (short) blade became so worn, I had to swap to the narrow (long)

As you know if you use an OSC tool, blades are expensive and all last about the same (unless carbide). These 3 blades work great and are as cheap as you can find! Bought several packs and now always have a good blade ready.

Works well as a Craftsman tool should!

Worked really well! I needed something quick, and this was easy to charge and set up. My only beef with this was that the registration process was a nightmare. I could not find the SN number on the tool or on the box. I finally found it by pointing my camera at the QR code, and then it came up.
