Huge hole in the box revealing some damage to the box, I haven’t opened it up to see if there is more damage or not. Nice cabinet, great value, needs better packaging

My tool collection had outgrown my old Craftsman toolbox, so I bought this rolling cabinet to support my box and to give me much needed capacity. The drawers are all soft close. This means you can "slam them" closed and they will automatically brake and close slowly - a very nice touch. Also the drawers all come with a liner - also great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the packing is not good enough. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is common for this cabinet to arrive damaged...

Lowes App & Order issues

On April 2, 2026, I ordered three Craftsman rolling toolboxes along with their top components in a single transaction. I specifically selected the W. Spring Lowe’s store (20902 Kuykendahl Rd, Spring, TX 77379) as my preferred pickup location. On April 4, I received an email confirming that all items would be ready for pickup on April 6. However, when I arrived at the store on April 8 at approximately 10:04 a.m., I was informed that only one of the three orders had been sent to the correct locati...

Damaged in shipping over three events

I purchased three and returned three Craftsman mobile cabinets. The ones I had shipped to my house all came damaged. The ones I was able to get directly from Lowes in person were fine. The boxes used for shipping are too thin and are prone to damage from shipping. Hence I returned all the damaged cabinets.

NOT doing this again…..

Well, problems from day one. Home delivery order. It was scheduled to be delivered 5 days after ordering. I tracked the order and on the last day it went missing. I chatted online with a rep and the first thing out of her mouth was “do you want me to cancel the order”. I told her no that I actually wanted the thing. She reorder it and the EXACT same thing happened again….LOST. I finally ordered it again, online with home delivery. Third time was a charm, it actually showed up…..but DAMAGE...

Great tool storage

I read the other reviews and was worried about any damage, but mine is perfect. Great quality and something I’ve wanted for my tools for years. I highly recommend Craftsman. At least this was still made in USA.

The cabinet looks great and seems very well-built for the price. The drawers open smoothly, and it appears to have plenty of storage space for a wide variety of tools. Assembly and setup were straightforward (wheels and pull arm), and overall I'm happy with the purchase. The only issue was that I discovered a dent after bringing it home from an in-store pickup. Came damaged

Huge hole in the box, with damage to the toolbox, haven’t taken it out of the box to see what other damage there is, it’s sad to pay the money these things cost and then they come damaged

Arrived Damaged

This item is too large to ship by FedEx. They ship it in the original packaging and mine arrived bent really bad. Must have been dropped at some point. The cabinet is made of very thin material, and bends easily. Not the quality Craftsman tools used to be.

Great Tool Chest

Staff was fantastic in helping me. The Craftsman 5 drawer Tool Chest is sturdy and strong. Love the 4in wheels. Able to roll to each spot of drip line and have all my tools and parts at hand. Thanks for quality and care.
