Avoid Lowes, Avoid the headache

Purchase date: 9/23/23. Sales lady assured me it was stackable & everything we needed would be delivered and installation team would stack and secure it. Delivery date: Tuesday 10/24/23 **Lowes failed to order and deliver stacking kit. Delivery team said they would come back to finish setting up and test na jobs once we got stacking kit. Great Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Bosch Washer. I like that it is so compact and the ease of using is also great. My 90 yr old mother even likes it. She says at least I can do my own laundry cause she can load it much easier then having to put the laundry in from the top. The ease of maintenance is also very good. Thank for a Great Washer .

Lack of spin-only cycle a significant oversight

However, I've found the lack of a spin-only cycle to be incredibly frustrating. The spin/rinse cycle is misleading; even when no "extra rinse" option is illuminated, a rinse cycle still occurs before any spinning begins. Bosch just keeps getting better!

CONSTANT E05 ERROR

Washer-have to unplug and replug every time we start a wash to reset the E05 error message from Day One. Did not touch the drainage hoses between washes. Brought this up with dealer and got pushback to swap out for a different model. Once it is reset, it washes fine. But a total pain for my 87 year old mom.

Bearings

After eight years the bearings in the drum gave out. I'm pretty handy so I tore apart to fix it with the exception of this particular model the 2/2 of the plastic drum that house the steel drum are glued together and not screwed together. You have to separate this drum to get to the steel part to get to the bearings. There's no way to put it back together. There's no glue that's gonna hold this.

Constant error code

I'm not sure why Bosch is asking for another review-have to unplug the washer every time we use it because the same error code appears. Once it is washing consecutive loads, it's okay so it's not repositioning the hose. It's something else.

Small, mighty, perfect for my needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer to replace a 'dummy' (not smart/wifi) washing machine that I had been holding onto for years. I did not want a smart washer, but the washer works perfectly fine without using any of those features. I've literally never set them up. So if you miss the old 'dummy' washers, this one suits all my needs and gets my clothes clean. I love the 'heavy soil' option.

Perfect solution for constrained spaces

We had to buy a new washing machine when ours broke, and because of the narrow hallway to the basement we were very limited in our choices.
