Ceiling tile
Very cheap material. edges fall apart in your hands. Looks horrible. I ordered what I thought was similar to tile I had purchased before, but this was not even close to the quality of previous tile I purchased. Different sizes in the 3 boxes

Buyer Beware
Spent over $500 to cover a 10 X 10 bedroom ceiling. Product says it can be painted, after painting all the tiles started getting visible cracks. Put in a claim with armstrong and they denied the claim because I painted the tiles voiding the warranty. Whats the sense of covering your ceiling with these tiles if they cant be painted. Stay away from this garbage.

Happy with purchase.
Good, consistent edging, interlocked with minimal seam separation. Color even through all 40 in case. BEST - case of 40 came packed in a larger case with shims and bubble-wrap padding for extra protection (I only order 1 - 2 cases at a time to ensure Armstrong uses this extra protection.) I used glue-up system to flat ceiling, worked well with a little glue toward each corner then put in place. They slide together, then I used a wood block & hammer to gently bring together completely. I sometim...

Thank you for the review! We're glad to hear our product was received in good shape and your happy with your purchase.

Do not buy.
The quality is not good. Whoever handled the cases of tile was not careful. We could not use several tiles due to damage . The edges were all messed up. We had to use painter's putty and paint the brand new ceiling. Very disappointed in our purchase.

Tile
Excellent product. Goes up easy and paints to a nice finish. I read that it voids the warranty if painted but Armstrong recommends that they be painted. I mean that is why I bought the product, to paint it. I would question that warranty of there is a concern. I painted with a semi gloss paint and it really makes the pattern pop. I also painted on the exposed side only and it worked very well. Since putting it up I have had to replace some panels due to water damage because of water coming thro...
recommended to be painted, painting voids warranty
We wanted to use this product but it turns out, while armstrong recommends painting the tile to hide the seams, if you paint the tile you void the warranty. Also if you paint you have to paint both the back and front of the tile, which would be a real pain. So while armstrong recommends this as paint-able, and in fact suggests painting for the best results, painting voids the warranty!!!!
Not for the average DYI guy
I can’t say this was an easy product to install. It is very friable and easy to damage. You have to keep absolutely square because just a tiny gap starts to run away pretty quick. You may need caulk as I did in order to get it back. What I loved was how easy it was to paint. We put a champagne metallic paint and turned out great. Recommend doing maybe 50 sq ft at a time since I went too fast at one point and the tiles started falling like dominos. Check out pic. Very happy with the finish projec...

Beautiful tiles
Four years ago we downsized and moved into a small brick ranch home in the country. The first thing we did was a total redo of the kitchen. I tiled the ceiling with these tiles and painted it. Every single person that comes to my home for the first time complements me on my kitchen ceiling. We had some storm damage to the ceiling this past fall and had to replace 4 tiles. I did not need a box of 40 but it was the only way to do the repairs. I love my kitchen ceiling...

Still love my ceiling!
I installed these tiles in my living and dining room in my 1918 house fifteen years ago and on a daily basis I still love the look of my ceiling! I have had no issues with them and was very pleasantly surprised to find that they are still in production as I am building another house and want to use them there as well. The only maintenance I have had is to repaint my ceiling as over time some of the edges you could see where they join.

Simple Quality
The tiles are easy to align and staple on 2 sides. The quality is great for the result you get. They paint easily and cut with a utility knife The Cons are that they're fragile at the corners and break if pinched at the sides. I plan to use there in more areas of my home.
