Washing Machine only last a year and q month. Apparently there's a recall because the machine will stop and it will keep draining as of there's water in it when it's not. Thats what the service tech told me. He also said they many have experienced the spin cycle not working. That happened to me today. So not only is the spin cycle not working the draining wont stop unless you unplug it. The only solution is to replace the control panel which cost just as much as a new washer. Great compact washer for one person.

Very nice washer - works great. Had to do 8 loads to get caught up with laundry - the machine did an excellent job, no problems. Would recommend! It came with a 6 foot drainage hose, which was too short. Had to buy a 10 foot drainage hose for it.

Big mistake

The very first time I used it, oil leaked out of the bottom. Sat on hold for an hour with whirlpool. Service repairman came. Of course he didn’t have the part, so I have to take off another day from work just to get it fixed. This appliance has been nothing but trouble.

Piece of junk

Purchased this washer 18 months ago and the motor is toast. It isn't worth the money to have it fixed. A brand new washer should last many, many years. AWFUL! Do not buy.

Best washer I have had in years.

I love that it is energy efficient. It was a huge plus for me because I am short and the tub is more shallow than most. We are only 2 in the household so we don't need a large capacity machine.

Breaks Right After Warranty

I got this washer in April 2024. Now in October 2025, it already has problems. The washer continues after cycle is complete like it still trying to drain even though there is no water left. Apparently this is a common fault with this washer and needs a control board replacement which is about half the cost of a new washer. Not worth it. Please use your money towards a different brand washer.

Washer Will Not Cycle

Washer will not cycle through functions. Won’t spin at all anymore. I’ve had this washer just over a year and now I’m shopping for another. Washer sounds like it’s running after cycle stops. DO NOT buy Amana. Seems to be a trend. Poor product.

Breaks Right After Warranty

The worst purchase of my adult life!!!

First of All, I had a budget Hotpoint Washer that lasted me over 10 years with no trouble whatsoever until the end when it just wore out. It wasn't fancy, it just did the job. I am very disappointed by the fact that a year and 5 months later I am having issues with this washer (purchased April 2024). I thought that I was doing myself a favor by purchasing a basic washer.
