Bought washer October 2024. Now the drain pump keeps running non stop after a load. Dashboard lights will stop working. Cant get it to stop. Open the lid and nothing is moving, but can hear water and motor running. Have to unplug it. Tried plugging back in 1/2 hour later and it starts draining noise again.

doesn't run correctly
machine does not operate correctly. Small loads will fill entire drum with water and the sense feature is nonexistent. we know have the issue of the drain pump running non stop after a load. Will not buy this brand again.
Irreparable before I owned it two years
I bought a smaller Amana originally and it just wasn’t working.. I then went back and bought this larger amount. That was July 2024. I just had repair man here and he says it’s irreparable. The tub is broken loose and is sitting on the floor.. I am a senior citizen who only does one or two loads a week. I was originally replacing a 40 year-old Maytag washer that had finally worn out. It is ridiculous for a washer to break down in two years.

everything gets worse with time
I bought this "exact" same model from Amana/Admiral in July of 2012, and it worked effortlessly and without complaint until 2026, when it was finally and unceremoniously claimed by rust to the feet and dispenser. I blindly ordered a replacement without reading the reviews, and this darn thing won't even fill up with water. This washer is the same as Whirlpool and Maytag
Our 11 year old Whirlpool washer suddenly started making a loud grinding noise so I knew the transmission had stripped a gear. Replacement cost plus labor was more than a new washer so went to Lowes after finding they had the best prices on their website. There were 3 nearly identical basic washers in the same price range. Frequent problems
The first issue was noticed by the 2nd or 3rd use when the detergent pod did not dissolve completely. The laundry came out with detergent streaked into some of the fabric. If it can't wash out the soap, I'm sure it can't wash out the dirt! I'm not sure why this happens, but it seems to have something to do with the water saving features. After some experimenting, I have found that my laundry is only effectively cleaned when water is on WARM or HOT, and when the water sensing features are NOT use...

We bought this in November 2024 and it bit the dust in June 2026. Barely lasted a year and a half. Ridiculous. I may sound like a grumpy old man but I remember the days when you could buy a washer and dryer and they'd last 20 years or more. Stay away from this junk.

Arrived broken
After installing, dryer runs but heating element did not work. Return in store only so I had to take it back to the store. Returns desk couldn't process an exchange so I had to wait on appliance section to do that (only one employee working and several people waiting for help).
