I love the knives and am currently trying to get used to how sharp they are, which is a good thing. The only thing I noticed is after washing by hand I put them on a drying mat. the next day there was a little dot of rust already starting on them.

Excellent set
Would RecommendWonderful knife set my husband and I bought for a Christmas gift to each other. They are very sharp and work well. My favorite knife is the utility knife and I use it practically every day. We hand wash and dry these knives as I was uncomfortable putting them in the dishwasher. Had them for six months and they look brand new!!! Excellent investment

Would Not RecommendGreat sharp knives for food preparation with the exception of the 8 serrated steak knives that tear meat instead of slicing it. It is like a large tooth saw blade so you continually saw the meat and tear it. Very unprofessional cheap design.

Oversized knife block?
Would Not RecommendI really can't wrap my head around why they chose to make the knife block three to four inches longer than necessary. It's such a waste of precious counter space, as it protrudes nearly four inches further than it needs to, serving no real purpose. On top of that, the steak knives are serrated. Why is that? You already have a good set of knives, yet they opted for serrated steak knives. All a serrated knife does is tear into your meat. If you find yourself needing a serrated knife to slice throu...

Solid set of knifes
The only knife I had trouble with was the bread knife. In sharpening it the edge was rolled over and I has to gone it slightly.

Don’t buy
Would Not RecommendI bought these as a gift thinking they were quality German steel with wooden handles , Once I received them I was quite disappointed. They’re made in India of unknown steel , they have cheap plastic handles and the plastic is rough on the corners. It appears the butt cap is glued on and not part of the tang , the blades are thin and the block is huge way to big for a normal counter top and last but not least the block has scuff marks on the bottom leading me to believe these were used .
