New Stay Open feature

I am greatly disappointed that the Stay Open feature has been forced upon us all. I do not appreciate the shape that my frozen food now takes even when frozen flat. My frozen food no longer lies flat, creating issues with stacking no matter if done horizontally or vertically. I'm not a happy camper.

After using Ziplock freezer bags FOR DECADES....

For some reason it is now common to have leaking bags. My latest exercise in futility happened when thawing out frozen tomato soup and it started dripping all over the counter. These bags SUCK now!

Unfortunately this product has lost my support and loyalty. I have purchased Ziploc over other brands for the quality I always received. However that may never happen again. I have opened at least 5 bags in order to get one that doesn't tear open and I have to throw them away. In this day, that is unacceptable when every dollar counts.

Can't open bag without the handle tearing off!!

Quality has gone downhill noticeably! We can't open a bag without the "handle" tearing off the top, without opening the seal. We've had this happen with 3 different boxes (38 count freezer bag) and it happens every time. What is going on? I might as well go back to the cheaper bags, if this is going to happen every time I try to open the bag.

LEAKS!

Why in the world are there perforations on a freezer bag? In addition to freezing things, I also use these to marinate meats and this made a Sriracha Honey MESS, as well as being very unsanitary leaking raw meat juice about. It doesn't make sense. I use all of the sizes of your bags on a daily basis because they are usually the best on the market. I am taking them back to the store for a refund.

What Happened to the Seal Quality?

Have purchased Ziplock bags for years and have never been disappointed until recently. For some reason, when you try to open a new bag, the seal detaches from the bag, rendering it unusable. This never occurred in the past and doesn't seem like it's as problematic on the gallon freezer or sandwich size. Very frustrating -- not to mention a waste of money if I end up having to throw a good portion of the box away. Not at all the Ziplock quality I would expect.

Freezer burn

These are freezer bags are falsely advertised as they clearly do not protect against freezer burn. I tried these bags for meats and vegetables and everything is ending up freezer burned. They're not worth the money and I'll be finding another option to store meats and other foods in the freezer. Maybe it's time to invest in a vacuum sealer system.

I'm not sure if the quality has dropped, but just about everything gets freezer burn now. I get as much air out of the bag as possible, make sure it's sealed, and all and food still gets freezer burn.
