What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this shellac-based primer for exceptional stain-blocking performance, rapid drying, and reliable adhesion on challenging surfaces. Most highlight its superior ability to seal water stains, smoke odors, pine knots, and tannin bleed—often requiring just one coat. Reviewers consistently note it adheres excellently to veneer, knotty pine, MDF, damaged drywall, and cement block, making it ideal for cabinets, furniture, and repairs. Many declare it outperforms competing primers and prevents bleed-through where others fail. A few mention strong alcohol odor requiring ventilation and thin consistency that demands careful application. Despite minor drawbacks, customers consider it an essential, trusted solution.
