What Customers Are Saying
The screen door closer is generally considered a high-quality and easy-to-install product that effectively controls the closing speed of screen doors. Many users report smooth and quiet operation, as well as the ability to customize the closing force to their preference. However, a small number of customers experienced issues such as the door slamming shut or the brackets bending shortly after installation. A few also raised concerns about the product's long-term durability.

Would RecommendPurchased this to replace the original one installed 14 yrs ago that still looked and worked perfectly. Unfortunately, I left the screen door ajar on a windy day, and it snapped one piece that secures the unit. Lowes only carries the whole kit, which still was worth the price for the extra parts if needed later. Install was simple for this 70 yr old woman. Tip: Install the part near the corner first, and it will allow you to pull the unit to extend it to reach the second attachment. I like that ...

Easy installation and very good performance
Would RecommendThe Wright pneumatic closer was an easy direct replacement of my failed pneumatic closer. I just removed the older closer, by lifting the 2 metal pins at both ends, replaced with the new closer and reinserted the 2 pins. The Wright closer performs much better than my old one, even when the later was new. When I opened the door wide and let it go, the door started closing fast at first, slows down near the end and closes gently. I highly recommend the Wright closer.

Reliable and easy to install
I have purchased these over the years many times. They have never failed even in the winter. Very easy to install and set up as needed.

Decent fit
Packaging clearly states "For Use With Light Style Doors". Closer also leaks black grease, which gets on your hands each time it is extended to place the retainer to hold the door ajar. Works for light screen door, just not sure of it's longevity as don't see a way to seal the grease inside nor a way to replenish it over time.

Easy to install.
Would RecommendWorks well. Installed easily in place of old one and didn’t need to use most of the hardware other than the main part. It has two settings, one for screen doors and one for doors with glass. The setting for screen door closes it much harder.
