Worth it

This ez hold is the best thing I’ve come across. It is so convenient and I wish I had gotten it sooner. The closer is heavy duty so it works for busy doorways. It feels very durable!

Strong!!!

My storm door kept slamming even with an old closer, I upgraded to this and it finally works like it should. The close is controlled and I love the “ez hold” feature so it can be propped open while I carry big stuff in.

Great door closer

Absolutely love this door closer. It can lock open easily, then just push the door open a little bit more and it automatically closes.

E-z everything

This closer is a game changer. The heavy duty gives the extra strength for our doorway, and the e-z hold makes my life so much easier! I can now carry everything i need inside without having to worry about the door clipping my ankles.

Love the hold feature

This is a holder that has a convenient hold open to make going in and out loading things easier and it is strong enough for frequent use.

Limited opening

The door doesn’t open anywhere close to all the way. Very disappointing.

Accessible and helpful tool for everyone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such an innovative product and helpful to everyone who could use the extra accessibility. I know for my parents they are getting older and this product alleviates the need for them to bend down every time they want to prop the door open. The easy touch of a button without leaning down is extremely useful. It could also be useful if you had your hands full and could not fully extend the door without putting the items down.

Overall, I’m a fan of this update. I am using this on my balcony door. It’s helpful when I’m carrying decorations or coffee/food and my hands are full. It is a bit bouncy, but you get used to it. I also like the adjustment knob for speed of closing.

All is good for the most part. I would like the door to open wider

beware of their website's difficulty in using it.

Lowes website was very difficult to use. It kept insisting that I pick up something from a drop box in Staten Island new York which I didn't want and couldn't delete. They still sent the item there and I have still not received my refund for the item. I will NEVER use their site again.

Junk

I purchased this on Sept 12 2025. Today is September 24 2025 and this hunk of junk is already busted, making grinding noises and door wont latch anymore. I have only used the door prop a handful of times but apparently that's too much for this to handle.
