Easy to install. Took about 5-10 minutes.

This product performed the task I needed it to do when I attached it to my doorway.

ABSOLUTE JUNK

Absolute junk! Not at all intuitive to use, locks up then can't be closed without breaking something.

Don’t buy

Installed correctly. Won’t hold door open 90 degrees. It’s more like 75-80 degrees. Broke in less than a year. Button jammed in open position and won’t release

Not effective

I have used and installed door closers for 50+ years. I am not new to this. I have had two of this particular brand and both acted the same. The door continues to slam instead of closing gently. If I make the slightest adjustment, it over compensates and the door does not even close. I moved the adjustment screw 1/16th" and I get from one extreme to the other. There us no in between. This has happened with both Wright closers.

Well Made, Easy to Use, Won't Hold Open 90Degrees

Product seems well made, and is easy to use. However, I was not aware when I purchased that the holder will not hold a door open at 90 degrees. I emailed the manufacture because I thought my unit was malfunctioning or needed additional adjustment, the company emailed back very quickly which I appreciated and clarified that the design will only hold at 80-85degrees, I think mine holds maybe around 75degrees, not sure if I like it or not.

Buyer beware

Installed correctly, it does NOT permit the door to open a full 90 degrees, let alone a comfortable 120 degrees. Also, missing information in the directions (ambiguous illustrations, rather) cost us a lot of time.

Nice shower rod

Good product so far. Easy to put up and seems very sturdy. Don’t be afraid to tighten the rod as much as you possibly can. Not doing so, we’ll probably end up with one of the ends, slipping off once the shower curtain is put on the shower rod

Glass door piston

The product was a perfect size and fit for our glass door. A store associate guided me right to the location of the replacement part and I was quickly on my way.

EZ-Hold Mechanism Failed Almost Immediately

I purchased the WRIGHT PRODUCTS 12.688-in EZ-Hold Adjustable White Aluminum Hold Open Screen/Storm Door Pneumatic Closer, and it failed within a week of installation. The “EZ-Hold” push mechanism broke almost immediately, leaving the door without a functioning closer. The overall construction feels flimsy and does not hold up to normal use. I expected better durability for the price and would not recommend this product.

Noisy replacement

Same part that was in the door but this one is very noisy

Difficult to operate.

I don't like the kick-lever on the side of the unit. All previously owned hold-open door closers have top-mounted kick/step levers making it much easier to activate than this side mounted type. A quick tap of a top mount lever is much easier to activate in that I can just place my foot on the lever without even having to look at it. Also, the rod that the kick lever engages with has ratcheted/segmented detents. I prefer a rod that is smooth without detents so the door can be held open exactly wh...

Great product but terrible service!!

My sister will not return to Lowe’s Milford ever again due to terrible service. She waited more than a half hour for a Lowe’s representative, only to be told after she waited so long that they could not help her. What is WRONG with Lowe’s?
